Get ready for a thrill-packed weekend as over 70 high-performance boats converge in Key West for the much-anticipated 2023 Race World Offshore Key West World Championships. Starting Sunday, November 3, the event promises a high-octane mix of speed, precision, and endurance on the water, drawing elite offshore racing teams from around the world.  The Championships are sponsored in part by the Beachside Hotel Key West.

The excitement kicks off with the world’s fastest boat parade on Sunday morning, marking the beginning of a week filled with competition and festivities. Spectators can expect daily races featuring sleek, high-powered vessels designed to handle the rigorous demands of open-water racing. Teams will battle for speed and maneuverability over the course of the event, offering an intense showcase of nautical skill and innovation.

In addition to the on-water action, fans will find a variety of activities onshore. Race Village, located at the Outer Mole, will feature a lively assortment of food vendors, merchandise stalls, and chances to meet the teams and racers up close. Guests can also enjoy local parties and live entertainment, adding to the celebratory atmosphere that Key West is known for.


Ticket Information and Rules

General admission tickets for the event are available at $25 per day. Children aged 12 and under, as well as military personnel, can attend for free. Tickets can be purchased at the Outer Mole entrance on race days.

Race World Offshore has implemented specific rules to ensure guest safety and comfort. The following items are prohibited at the event: coolers, outside food and drink, drones, weapons, scooters, tents, backpacks, and golf carts. Bicycles are allowed but must be equipped with helmets, as mandated by Navy rules. Lawn chairs are also welcome for spectator comfort. Please be aware that all personal items are subject to search by NAS Key West Security.

Transportation and Parking

Guests are encouraged to plan ahead for transportation, as parking near the Navy Mole entrance is restricted. Race World Offshore suggests using rideshares, taking the free Duval Loop bus, or riding a bicycle to the event. While motorized vehicles are not permitted, there is limited handicap parking available for those with proper credentials.
